vroom vroom.

weeks like this are exhausting.

i started my new job on monday! it goes great :) however, that also means i have to juggle that and skating. and it's kickoff week, which means that i work here from 9:30-2:30 then hop on the highway and go to the rink from 3:30-10. it's tiring.

however, things are falling into place. my parents gave me my mom's car, and so now i have a way to transport myself. thanks to them. they are incredible. she got a new car--a little red one, which she's pretty stoked about.

i've been in touch with the people at drew. and i found out i can go part time and keep my methodist scholarship, which will hopefully pay for EVERYTHING.

man, god is really providing.

camp gives kids a world of good

it's been a whirlwind of a few weeks. i've done a whole lot, and i'm not even sure where to start.

i guess the most important of news is that i have a job! yup. i am officially the "director of youth ministries" at a methodist church nearby here. i'm super excited about it, as i really feel that this is where god wants me to be right now. i mean, can it get any better than teaching kids about God, and having a blast while doing so? i don't think so. i'm pretty stoked to get started. it's a 25 hour a week job, so i'll most likely be trying to find something else part-time.

i was able to go to aldersgate to work with these fabulous special needs adults:

it was pretty awesome to be completely in my "element" at camp. it's just the place where i can completely be myself. it's incredible how that happens. i love it! seeing some old friends, making new friends, and seeing how god is at work in the campers and counselors. it was pretty cool. one of the campers likes to write in his journal everyday, and it's amazing to see how he writes about the grace of god and how he worships. it's pretty incredible.

what else? i miss my friends a lot right now.

also, the real world is pretty scary. bills and whatnot? i need to also somehow find a car within the next few days. that stresses me out.

let's just say that i have faith that things will work out in time. in time. that seems like the key word. i am totally the kind of person that likes things to happen immediately. that's gotta stop ;)

anywho. i'm off!
